MFIE Import/Export is here !

MFIE interfaces with MFRA and shares some data such as customer and billing information. MFIE features a  Master Air Way Bill (MAWB)document that allows tracking ocean or air freight.

Arrival and availability times may be entered and free time is automatically calculated with compensation for nonbusiness days.. 

Invoices for Brokers, Airlines and carriers are automatically generated from the same MAWB.  Line items are rated automatically via user-designed rate definitions.

A manifesting function allows  recording Air Bills and  generates a single invoice for the entire manifest.

The module features full built-in invoice and reporting capabilities along with full featured tracing for locating documents.

An Optional web interface is available that will allow customer access to information including container availability, invoices and delivery dates and times.(see next column)

Available to all MF21 users...

MFWC or Motor Freight Web Connection is an application that will provide your customers with on-line connectivity to shipment information and has an optional  container availability function if you operate a container freight station. Access will be by UserID and a password that you supply.

MFWC has a low setup fee and a reasonable recurring monthly charge.  This is a very inexpensive way to make your company have all the value-added services of much larger companies and it's almost totally automatic.

Do I have to get new forms for MF21?

The new MF21 programs use plain laser printer paper. We recommend that you get perforated paper for your freight bills and statements, but it is not required.  You can also use half sheets if your printer supports it.  Half sheets are sometimes referred to as A5. The savings in forms can be impressive. Depending on your company size you can literally save thousands of dollars each year. That's reason alone to switch to MF21.  Multi part freight bill forms from the MF-Dos application are not supported
